Accountant ready for more? Finance Manager to international tech & design studio

Bakken & Bæck are experiencing strong growth and are looking for a Finance Manager who will take ownership of the finance function in a creative and international environment. In this role, you will be responsible for both accounting and financial management in a company that is a leader within its field.

This is a core role with a broad scope where you will work across financial management, covering everything from accounting control and reporting to cash flow management, budgeting, and forecasting. From day one, you will have real influence by ensuring strong financial control and providing solid decision-making support in key processes.

You will work independently, while collaborating closely with the COO, CEO, and project managers across Europe. You will have freedom to shape and further develop the finance function. This role is well suited for someone who is self-driven, enjoys responsibility, and wants to be part of an exciting growth journey in a company with high ambitions.

Key responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for accounting and monthly closings, including reconciliations
• Support invoicing and bookkeeping
• Oversee and collaborate with external accountants and auditors
• Consolidation and preparation of group accounts
• Prepare financial reporting
• Ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management for the group
• Provide payroll input for Norway
• Further develop systems, structures, and routines

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in accounting or controlling (certified public accountant is an advantage)
• Solid experience with A-Z accounting, including payroll and annual closing
• Strong system skills, including ERP systems and Excel
• Experience with Xledger is an advantage
• Fluent in both Norwegian and English
